Blackened Salmon Burrito Bowls

You will need (2) 6 oz. portions of Fish Fixe Salmon
For the blackening seasoning:
  • ⁠2 tsp smoked paprika⁠
  • 2 tsp brown sugar⁠
  • 1 tsp garlic powder⁠
  • 1 tsp onion powder⁠
  • 1 tsp kosher salt⁠
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cumin⁠
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder ⁠
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper⁠





  1. Prepare Fish Fixe Salmon by thawing and drying thoroughly with a paper towel
  2. Remove the skin and cut it into uniform pieces
  3. Coat salmon on all sides with blackening seasoning
  4. Bring a large non-stick skillet to medium-high heat and coat the bottom of the pan with coconut oil or avocado oil
  5. Sear 3-4 minutes – rotating the pieces to get a good brown on all sides
  6. To prepare the bowl add in rice, beans, sautéed peppers, guacamole or your favorite salsa
  7. Mix it up and serve it with tortillas or chips for a quick weeknight meal
