What is Fish Fixe?

Fish Fixe is a seafood delivery service specializing in perfectly portioned, premium seafood products that have been frozen at the peak freshness. 

Do I have to subscribe to order a Fish Fixe Box?

Absolutely not! You may order a Fish Fixe box as frequently as you please.  Our Fixe Your Own Box option is built on a recurring order platform - but don't worry you can easily pause, cancel or edit your orders at any time!  Remember, free shipping applies to ALL orders and all Fish Fixe Boxes contain 16 perfect 6 oz. portions of premium seafood.

Can I cancel my order?

Recurring orders may be cancelled at any time for any reason. 

Why don't you like the "s" word?

At Fish Fixe, we just don't like the "s" word.  We have all fallen victim to forced subscriptions and complicated ordering systems and we just don't like the way that makes us feel.  We've chosen to incorporate the convenience of subscriptions through our recurring order options and offer a discount for orders placed on the recurring order platform.  Recurring orders are completely customizable and may be changed or cancelled at any time with no penalties.  We know you will love our seafood and we can't wait for you to join the Fish Fixe Family!

Why 16 portions?

Because 16 portions allow two adults to get their recommended two servings of seafood per week for an entire month.  If you have more than two seafood lovers in your house you can always double up or make your order recurring every two weeks!  If you have a special request or want to double up your order please email us - we'd love to help you out! Product Questions

What do you mean by portions?

A portion is a cut of fish taken from a whole fillet.  All of our portions are 6 oz. because we believe that it is the perfect sized entree portion.

Why are your portions frozen and not fresh?

Great question!

We are in the seafood processing and distribution business and we know first hand how a complicated distribution system takes its toll on seafood.  By the time most seafood makes it to the big retailers it can be a week or two past its harvest date.  You may have noticed the (PF) designation by many of the seafood selections at your local market.  The (PF) means that the fish fillet has been previously frozen and thawed for sale.  In practical terms, if that fish was properly harvested and frozen immediately it could be almost as fresh as the day it was caught, but how long has it been sitting in that seafood case?  The answer is - you just won't know.

We believe that “Freshness can be Frozen” when you properly harvest and care for seafood. Our fish are caught, portioned and frozen within days of leaving the ocean.  We literally freeze in the freshness.  We also prefer the convenience of frozen over fresh because frozen portions mean less waste as home cooks can defrost only what is needed and save the rest for later.

How many portions come in a FISH FIXE BOX?

Fish Fixe Boxes come with (16) 6 oz. portions of premium seafood.  The price is $119 for a Fish Fixe Box and $129 for a Fixe Your Own Box - ALL BOXES SHIP FOR FREE!

What is a fishmonger?

A fishmonger is someone who sells raw fish and seafood. Fishmongers are trained at selecting and purchasing, handling, gutting, boning, filleting and displaying their products.  

Do you have a referral program?

Do your proteins come with thaw and prep instructions?
Yes! All of our proteins come two portions per kraft bag. Each kraft bag has printed thaw and prep instructions on the front. Lost your bag? No problem! Click on the button below to find all prep instructions.


Where does Fish Fixe ship?
SHIPPING UPDATE: Due to distribution inefficiencies brought on by COVID-19 we are temporarily suspending deliveries to Oregon and Washington state. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We ship to all other 46 contiguous states - for FREE! We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.
How is my Fish Fixe Box shipped?

All Fish Fixe boxes are shipped Fed Ex Ground in styrofoam shippers. The boxes are packed with dry ice to ensure proper temp upon delivery.  



When does my Fish Fixe Box ship?


Weekly order cutoff is Sunday at 11:59 CST. All orders in the cue by Sunday at 11:59 CST will ship either Monday or Wednesday of that week.

All shipments to Zones 1-3 will arrive next business day.  All other shipments will arrive between 2-3 business days.

Why we ship on Mondays and Wednesdays:

-To increase the efficiency of the dry ice by avoiding weekend delays

-To be on call and ready should you have any issues with your package.

What is your refund policy?

Orders should be inspected upon delivery and claims should be requested within 12 hours of delivery. With that said, if you aren't happy, then we aren't happy. If we missed the boat, we will make it right.
